Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Salem, NH seeks a skilled Electrical Engineer II to design new and legacy electronics for marking and coding equipment. You will collaborate with FPGA developers, software, mechanics, and reliability teams to translate requirements into robust hardware.

Responsibilities include circuit analysis, test plan development, and hardware validation. You will work hands-on with PLCs, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi while ensuring manufacturability and cost targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; master's preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA, VHDL, and circuit analysis.
  • Experience withanalog/digital mixed-signal design and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Design engineering for new and legacy products.
  • Implement hardware designs based on requirements specifications.
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulations to ensure operation across environments.
  • Develop hardware test plans and validation.
  • Interface with OEM manufacturers and eng partners to verify solutions.
  • Cross-functional design reviews with software, mechanical and reliability teams.
  • Hands-on work with PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other hardware.
  • Document test results and report findings for product maturity.
  • Support obsolescence mitigation and redesigns as needed.
  • Follow design-for-manufacturing practices and cost targets.
