Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Salem, NH is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, validate, and support electronic hardware for marking and coding equipment. You will work with FPGA developers, software and reliability engineers to implement designs from specs, build test benches, and ensure manufacturability.

This onsite role requires strong schematic and verification skills. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of Altium, SPICE, and VHDL, plus hands-on test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
• Experience with FPGA, VHDL, and hardware verification.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering for new and legacy products.
• Develop hardware test plans and document interconnects.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulations for reliability.
• Interface with suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on work with PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and testing beds.
• Support design reviews and manufacturing handoffs.
