Dover Imaging & Identification (DII), a Dover Corporation segment, invites applications for a Sr. Electrical Engineering Design Technician in Salem, NH.

The role focuses on testing, reworking, and debugging PCBs, building experimental setups, and validating high-speed electromechanical assemblies for new product development. You will contribute to laser engraving and inkjet printing product development while collaborating within a multinational engineering team.

Qualifications

• Minimum: an associate’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience reworking PCBs and soldering to add or remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and debug under guidance of an Engineer.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs.
• Design validation testing with a major focus on electronics for new products.
• Conduct testing of mechanical, electrical, and optical components, subsystems and systems.
• Document experimental conditions and test results.
• Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex parts.
• Inspect incoming parts and manage lab equipment including calibration.
• Collaborate with the technical team to maintain safe, productive work environment.
• Design and verify cables.
