LiquidPiston, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, fabricate, and test electrical systems for next-generation engines. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware work, prototype fabrication, design iteration, and collaboration across disciplines.

Located in Connecticut with onsite work and relocation considerations. You will design analog/digital circuits, develop PCBs, troubleshoot, and document your work while contributing to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
• Proficiency in schematic generation, PCB design, BOM creation, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with PCB design software such as OrCAD or Altium Designer.
• Hands-on troubleshooting using standard lab equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Soldering through-hole and SMD components.

Aufgaben

• Design and analyze analog and digital circuits for electrical and electronic systems.
• Develop schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
• Create PCBs using OrCAD or Altium Designer.
• Troubleshoot and debug using lab equipment and prototype hardware.
• Assemble, modify, and repair electronic hardware and prototypes.
• Support integration with mechanical systems and engine test setups.
• Document findings and communicate results to the team.
