Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to lead electrical maintenance at the Midlothian Cement Plant, TX. You will supervise technicians, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure code compliance while documenting and analyzing plant electrical systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and experience with PLCs, SAP, AutoCAD, and MS Office. On-site work, safety-first culture, and on-call rotation are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering as preferred education.
• Experience with electrical maintenance and control systems in plant environments.
• Knowledge of SAP for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians; assign work and record in SAP.
• Lead electrical preventive and predictive maintenance; collect data and analyze.
• Document electrical schematics and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure system programming meets environmental compliance.
• Maintain master equipment files and regulatory compliance documents.
• Evaluate control equipment to meet plant requirements and reliability goals.
• Define and implement changes to process control programs.
• Provide control system training and guidance to plant personnel.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software of control systems.
• Participate in equipment/process modifications to improve reliability and safety.
• Be on-call on a rotational basis.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
