Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Engineer I at the Midlothian Cement Plant to oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshoot control systems, and drive improvements in reliability and safety. You will coordinate with the maintenance team, document changes, and ensure environment-compliant programming.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, PLC knowledge, and experience with instrumentation, motors, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and process control systems preferred.
• Experience in instrumentation, motors, starters and VFDs.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians on daily work orders.
• Plan, schedule and execute control system activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Document electrical schematics and manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure programming meets environmental compliance.
• Provide training and guidance on control systems.
