Job summary
Amrize seeks an Electrical Engineer I for our Midlothian Cement Plant, TX. You will lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance, supervise technicians, maintain control documentation, and ensure safe, compliant project execution.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC-based systems, updating schematics, and supporting PLC/ control upgrades while staying aligned with environmental policies and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with PLCs and process controls preferred.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, motors, starters and VFDs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians for daily work orders.
- Maintain electrical schematics and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all control projects.
- Troubleshoot control system hardware and software problems.
- Support plant maintenance and PLC projects on site.
