Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to lead electrical maintenance at the Midlothian Cement Plant in Texas. The role focuses on safe, efficient, compliant electrical work and coordination of control systems projects to maximize equipment reliability.

You will supervise technicians, document work in SAP, and ensure systems meet safety and environmental standards while supporting plant reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with PLC programming and process control systems preferred (CTI, PLC-5, SLC500).
• Strong documentation and safety/compliance practices required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians on daily work orders and projects.
• Maintain electrical schematics and spare parts inventory records.
• Ensure environmental compliance and proper programming of control systems.
