Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Engineer I for the Midlothian Cement Plant in TX. The role focuses on leading electrical maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable plant operations, and coordinating control system activities with the maintenance team.

You will work on electrical and instrumentation projects, perform preventive maintenance, document schematics, and support plant personnel with control systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with PLC programming and process control systems is preferred.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians in daily work orders and projects.
• Perform electrical preventive and predictive maintenance, collect and analyze data with diagnostic tools.
• Document electrical schematics and manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure system programming meets environmental compliance.
• Maintain and update system documentation and regulatory files.
• Evaluate control equipment to meet plant requirements and modify process controls as needed.
• Provide training and support for plant personnel on control systems.
• On-call on a rotational basis.
