Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer I to design, analyze, and support electrical systems for energy and infrastructure projects on hospital and college campuses. You’ll develop code‑compliant, constructible designs for power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering.
• PE license required.
• 5+ years of design experience.
• Experience in energy infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal engineering documents where applicable.
• Design solar, energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants with senior guidance.
• Analyze electrical systems (power distribution, LV/MV, lighting, controls).
• Perform calculations for interconnects, arc flash, short‑circuit studies.
• Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications under standards.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate 3D laser scanning if needed.
• Assist in project coordination with teams.
• Work under general supervision and escalate complex issues.
• Develop client interaction skills in supported settings.
