Job summary

ENFRA Solutions seeks an Electrical Professional Engineer I to design, analyze, and support electrical systems for energy projects on hospital and college campuses. You will develop code-compliant, constructible designs including power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls integration.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination with facilities, support permitting and procurement, and deliver durable, efficient solutions. PE license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in energy infrastructure, ESCO, or EaaS projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal engineering documents where applicable.
• Design solar energy, battery energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants with guidance from seniors.
• Analyze electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, controls).
• Perform basic calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, short-circuit studies.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications under established standards.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments; support 3D laser scanning efforts.
