Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer I to design and support electrical systems for energy and infrastructure projects across hospital and college campuses. You will develop code-compliant, constructible designs including power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls integration.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support permitting and procurement, and prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure performance, reliability, and energy

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical system design and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and mathematical skills
• Proficiency with electrical design and modeling software
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple assignments

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents, as applicable.
• Designs solar energy, battery energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP plants with guidance from senior engineers.
• Performs analysis and design of electrical systems (power distribution, low/medium voltage, lighting, controls, etc.).
• Performs basic calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, and short‑circuit and breaker coordination studies.
• Prepares calculations, drawings, and specifications under established standards.
• Conducts site visits, field assessments, and data collection; may coordinate 3D laser scanning efforts.
• Assists in project coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Applies engineering techniques within defined assignments.
• Performs work under general supervision.
