Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer II to independently perform advanced electrical engineering work for energy and infrastructure projects across healthcare and college campuses. You will lead design and coordination of power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls integration, ensuring code compliance and constructibility while supporting permitting and field execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of design experience for electrical systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power and building systems.
• Experience with system coordination, protection, and controls integration.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Lead designs for solar energy, battery storage, fuel cell, and CHP with guidance from senior engineers.
• Develops detailed deliverables including one-lines, load calculations, and specifications.
• Performs calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, and short-circuit and breaker coordination studies.
• Supports system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
• Coordinates across disciplines including mechanical, controls, and construction teams.
• Interacts with clients on technical matters.
• Mentors junior engineers and designers.
