Job summary
SSOE's Advanced Technology division is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for high-performance semiconductor facilities, focusing on cleanrooms and critical manufacturing spaces. You will develop electrical concepts, perform load studies, and design low and medium voltage power distributions.
You will collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and engineers across disciplines to deliver code-compliant, constructible solutions, while mentoring junior staff
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
- PE license preferred; licensure may affect salary range.
- FE/EIT exam completion is highly desired.
- Experience with electrical design for large facilities in integrated design-build.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design and engineering for semiconductor facilities, including load analysis and construction documents.
- Design LV/MV power distribution, switchgear, substations, and related systems.
- Develop one-lines, riser diagrams, schedules, and calculations for safe operation.
- Mentor junior staff and support QA/QC reviews and design meetings.
