Job summary

Olin is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Independence, MO. You will support maintenance and production with reliability, design, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role involves serving as the engineering representative on small capital projects, including justification, approval, ordering, and installation. You will lead at least three hands-on projects, provide reliability leadership for instruments and

Qualifications

GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale required.
Enrollment in an undergrad Electrical Engineering program.
Experience in ammunition/firearms preferred.
Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation.
Must be able to work full-time (40 hrs/week); no virtual work.
ITAR data access requires export license approval.
U.S. citizen due to facility access.

Responsibilities

Lead at least three hands-on projects during rotation.
Provide reliability leadership for electrical systems and instruments; troubleshoot and analyze data.
Assist in development of preventive and predictive maintenance policies.
Identify and implement process improvements in small caliber ammunition production.
