Job summary

Olin is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Independence, MO. The student will support maintenance and production by focusing on reliability, design, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe operations.

The role includes acting as the engineering representative on small capital projects, including justification, approvals, ordering, and installation processes and equipment; housing stipend is available.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university with an undergrad Electrical Engineering degree program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; transcript required each term.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Provide reliability leadership for instruments and electrical systems; troubleshoot and analyze data.
• Support maintenance in creating policies for preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements in small caliber ammunition production.
