Job summary

Olin is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-Op for Fall 2027 in Independence, MO. The role supports maintenance and production with reliability, design, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems.

It involves participation in small capital projects from justification to installation. You must be enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program with a 3.0+ GPA, be able to work full-time during rotations, and be a US citizen eligible for ITAR access.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree.
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times during the program.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; not eligible for virtual work.
• Position requires ITAR access and U.S. citizenship; eligibility for export licenses is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Provide reliability leadership for instruments and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Support maintenance in developing policies and procedures for preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements for the production of small caliber ammunition.
