Job summary

LaBella Associates seeks an Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on Building Projects to join the Rochester, NY office. You will develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports, working independently and within multi-discipline teams to produce electrical engineering documents.

The role involves interacting with architects and engineers across disciplines, guiding projects through all phases, performing code reviews, and supporting client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with 3+ years at an A/E consulting firm.
• Autodesk Revit proficiency is required.
• EIT or PE license is preferred.
• Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, and utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems are desired.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects.
• Function as a project electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases (proposal, design, bidding and construction).
• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meeting with external and internal clients.
• Performing building condition assessment reports.
