Job summary

Fishbeck in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our building and water/wastewater projects. You will design electrical systems, develop construction documentation, and support projects from planning through construction.

The role requires a BSEE, knowledge of NEC/IBC/Energy Codes, and PE licensure or active pursuit. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, and arc-flash software is essential; hybrid work options are available and employee ownership is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent) required.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or pursuing licensure.
• Familiarity with the NEC, IBC, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, MS Office, Easy Power, and lighting design software.

Working with our Electrical Engineering team, you willwork on a large variety of projects with several multidisciplinary professionals.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
• Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
