Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical team in Ohio. You will develop construction documents, design building systems, and supervise junior staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects.

The role involves field data collection, client coordination, and construction phase support, aiming to deliver high-quality engineering deliverables across planning, design, and construction stages.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent required.
• Experience designing electrical systems for A/E and/or water/wastewater facilities.
• Licensed PE or pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

Working with our Electrical team, you will help to develop construction documents while supervising other junior electrical engineers and designers. You will also work with several multidisciplinary professionals on various projects.

What You’ll Do

• Review and ensure quality of engineering deliverables
• Support projects from planning and design through construction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
• Manage multiple project tasks and responsibilities simultaneously

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
• Experience designing electrical systems for A/E and/or water and wastewater facilities
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
