Job summary

Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Michigan to join our multidisciplinary team. You will develop technical documentation, design electrical and building systems, and perform field data collection on projects that span water facilities and other public works.

The role requires a BSEE or equivalent, NEC/IBC/Energy Code familiarity, and PE licensure or progress toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working toward licensure.
• Familiarity with NEC, IBC, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office, Easy Power arc flash analysis, and lighting design software.

Working with our Electrical Engineering team, you will work on a large variety of projects with several multidisciplinary professionals.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
• Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working toward licensure.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
