Job summary

Fishbeck in Grand Rapids (MI) seeks an Electrical Engineer to support a range of water and wastewater facility projects within a multidisciplinary team. You will develop construction documents, design electrical and building systems, and perform field data collection and site visits.

Ideal candidates have a BSEE, PE licensure pending, and familiarity with NEC/IBC/Energy Codes. The role offers hybrid scheduling and opportunities for professional growth and ownership in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the A/E consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or pursuing licensure.
• Familiarity with the NEC, IBC, and Energy Codes.

Location: Grand Rapids or Farmington Hills, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working with our Electrical Engineering team, you willwork on a large variety of projects with several multidisciplinary professionals.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
• Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
