Job summary

P1 Service LLC is seeking an Electrical Division Sales Manager to lead sales and project execution across the Greater Kansas City market. You will drive revenue, build high-performing teams, and manage key customer relationships to deliver value-driven electrical solutions.

The role combines strategic development, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with operations to ensure profitable project delivery and market growth. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in electrical contracting, MEP services, or related B2B/facility services industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a book of business.
• Understanding of electrical systems, services, and industry terminology (commercial/industrial electrical).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow electrical service and project revenue within assigned market(s).
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of electrical sales representatives/account managers.
• Set individual and team sales targets; track performance against goals and provide regular reporting to leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, property managers, and facility decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including bid/proposal development for electrical projects.
• Collaborate with operations, estimating, and project management teams to ensure smooth handoff and delivery of sold work.
• Work with Operations Manager and General Manager to oversee the division's P&L, divisional expenses, budget, and planning.
• Partner with marketing on lead generation, branding, and market positioning for the Electrical division.
• Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
• Ensure sales practices comply with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Represent P1 Service at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• All other duties as assigned
