Talent Solutions Partners is partnering with a nationally recognized engineering consulting firm to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer / Engineering Manager in Lawrence, KS. You will lead electrical design teams on commercial and institutional projects while balancing project delivery with mentorship and leadership development.

The role emphasizes leadership growth, structured professional development programs, and collaboration with architects, contractors, owners, and internal project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering is required.
• Active PE license is required.
• 5+ years of electrical building systems design experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical teams.
• Proficiency with Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineers and designers.
• Oversee electrical system design for commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Review engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and client standards.
• Manage multiple projects while balancing team resources and schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and internal project teams.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide technical leadership.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering standards and best practices.
