Job summary

MVP Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead our residential electrical operations in the Kansas City area. You will guide electricians, apprentices, and field personnel to deliver safe, high-quality work that meets NEC and company standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, project coordination, and accurate estimating, with opportunities for training and career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years electrical experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and local building codes.
• Proven experience managing residential and light commercial electrical service, repair, and installation operations.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential electrical operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Provide technical leadership and support to electricians, apprentices, and field personnel.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local regulations, and safety policies.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule electrical service, repair, installation, and maintenance projects.
• Review and approve estimates, proposals, and project scopes.
• Manage installation and service of panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, generators, EV chargers, surge protection.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Support recruiting, training, and development of electrical team members.
