David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training, Electrical Designer to support the Beaverton, OR team with Revit production for a major water/wastewater project and broader Energy projects as available.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, an EIT or ability to obtain within six months, and 1–3 years of electrical design experience, with strong CAD skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience as an electrical designer or equivalent.
• Proficient in Revit Modeling with working knowledge in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Must demonstrate strong ethical behavior and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including main service, distribution, standby power, and general power.
• Produce construction drawings with adequate detail based on engineer input.
• Adhere to client-specific and DEA CAD standards and file management procedures.
• Communicate effectively with drafting staff and clients.
