Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, EIT or eligibility, and 1-3 years of electrical designer experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience as an electrical designer or equivalent.
• Proficient in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including main service, distribution, standby power, general power, and circuiting.
• Produce construction drawings with detailed content based on engineer input and previous work.
• Understand and comply with client-specific and DEA CAD standards and preferences.
• Implement file management procedures to organize and maintain electronic drawing files.
• Communicate effectively with drafting staff and clients.
