Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training, Electrical Designer to support electrical design for energy projects across multiple WA/OR offices. Initial focus on a water/wastewater project with Revit production and CAD tasks.

The role requires a B.E.E. and EIT eligibility, with 1–3 years’ experience and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within six months.
• 1–3 years of electrical designer experience; strong CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including main service, distribution, standby power, general power, and circuits.
• Produce construction drawings with detail based on engineer input and reference material.
• Adhere to client and DEA CAD standards; maintain organized electronic files.
• Coordinate with drafting staff and clients to ensure timely delivery.
