David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) Energy team seeks an Engineer-in-Training, Electrical Designer to support Beaverton, OR, and coordinated work across Seattle/Tukwila, WA, and Portland, OR offices.

The role centers on Revit production for a major water/wastewater project with broader energy projects as available. You will design electrical systems, produce construction drawings, and ensure CAD standards are met while collaborating with staff and clients to deliver safe, reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrical designer or equivalent.
• Proficient in Revit Modeling with working knowledge in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Demonstrate strong ethical behavior and commitment to quality within budgets and schedules.
• Understand the value of client satisfaction.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter, highly motivated team player, able to work under time constraints.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task on several design projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including main service, distribution, standby power, general power, and circuiting.
• Create construction drawings with detail based on engineer input and existing references.
• Adhere to client-specific and DEA CAD standards and preferences.
• Implement file management procedures to organize and maintain electronic drawing files.
• Communicate effectively with drafting, design staff and clients.
