Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or associates degree in electrical-related field or equivalent coursework.
• 5–10 years of experience as electrical designer or 5–10 years experience with Master/Journeyman license, or 7–10 years as electrician for an electrical contractor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building projects including code review, lighting calculations, and one-line diagrams under licensed engineer supervision.
• Prepare and edit electrical system specifications under supervision.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects as needed; document meeting notes.
