Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Designer III to perform technical activities on assigned projects under a licensed engineer’s supervision. You will contribute to design, studies, and documentation for electrical systems on building projects, and mentor BIM/CAD staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include energy calculations, progress monitoring during construction, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree or associate in electrical-related field, or related coursework, plus relevant experience.
Experience 5–10 years as electrical designer in engineering/architectural firms, OR 5–10 years with Master/Journeyman Electrician license, OR 7–10 years as electrician in contracting.
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for buildings: one-line diagrams, lighting/layout, branch circuits, service calculations.
Prepare specs and documentation for electrical projects.
Attend meetings with owners/architects; prepare notes and follow up.
Conduct site surveys and monitor construction to ensure code compliance.
Mentor BIM/CAD technicians and other designers; assist in budgeting and scheduling.
