Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group seeks a 3D Electrical Staff Designer based in the U.S. to advance our engineering projects.

You will craft and refine 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, conduct site walkdowns, and partner with engineers to deliver precise, safety-aligned designs. You will mentor junior designers, perform design reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards while collaborating across teams on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 1 year of design engineering experience.
• Associates degree in related field with at least 6 years of design engineering experience.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of design engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT; develop REVIT families and integrate into designs.
• Perform client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports; collaborate with engineers and other designers.
• Conduct self-checks of drawings and data to identify potential issues; mentor junior designers and provide leadership.
• Follow safety policies and procedures, ensuring design work adheres to standards and client requirements.
