Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a 3D Electrical Staff Designer for the Data Center Mission Critical Group. Based in multiple U.S. offices, you will create and refine detailed drawings, conduct site walkdowns, and collaborate with engineers using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.

You will mentor junior designers, ensure quality and safety, and manage time effectively while staying current with electrical design codes and standards. The role offers diverse projects and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year design engineering experience.
• Or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of design engineering experience.
• Or a minimum of 10 years design engineering experience.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D design software; AutoCAD and Revit required; BIM360 preferred.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of electrical design codes.
• Willingness to travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Create/modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; develop REVIT families.
• Perform site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports; collaborate with engineers.
• Peer-checks, mentoring junior designers, and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure designs comply with procedures and client requirements.
• Maintain organization and timely delivery of design tasks.
