Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. (ENERCON) is seeking a 3D Electrical Staff Designer to join our Data Center Mission Critical Group. The role is based in one of our U.S. office locations and involves detailed drafting, site walkdowns, and collaboration with engineers using AutoCAD, REVIT, and BIM tools.

You will design in 2D and 3D, ensure safety and quality, mentor junior team members, and support diverse projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 1 year of design engineering experience OR an Associates Degree with 6 years of design engineering experience OR 10+ years of experience.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D design software; AutoCAD and Revit required; BIM360 preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical design codes, standards, and concepts; strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel 10-15% of the time; travel duration varies by project/client needs.

Responsibilities

• Create/modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT; develop REVIT families and incorporate into design; perform internal reviews and clash detection using NAVISWORK or REVIT.
• Conduct client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports; collaborate with engineering/design teams.
• Perform self-checks of drawings and data; mentor/lead junior designers; communicate with engineers and other designers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and client procedures; ensure quality and efficiency in deliverables.
