Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or associate degree in an electrical field with 4–10 years of design experience, or
• master/journeyman license with 5–10 years experience, or
• 7–10 years as an electrician in an electrical contractor.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects under supervision.
• Writes and edits electrical system specifications for building projects.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects as needed.
• Performs energy calculations and manages small electrical design projects.
• Mentors BIM/CAD Technicians and other designers to ensure quality.
