Base Pay Range: $84,800.00 - $144,200.00

Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Electrical Design Engineers are central to KLA's technology. Although we do not currently have open positions, we are building our electrical engineering talent community and are interested in your background.

We offer a range of electrical engineering opportunities, including:

1. PCB design, producing schematics, and collaborating with layout engineers to fabricate PCBs.
2. Familiarity with electronic blocks such as power supplies, regulators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs; experience with tools like OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, Eagle; and simulation tools like ADS, Hyperlynx is a plus.
3. Working closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to test PCB systems.
4. Electrical system design, collaborating with mechanical engineers to ensure designs meet requirements and are serviceable, including power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, hardware, networking, and cabling.
5. Knowledge of AC power distribution, programmable logic controllers, cable and fiber optic design, ladder logic, or soldering is beneficial.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 0 years related experience; Master's Degree with 3 years; Bachelor's Degree with 5 years.
