Base Pay Range: $84,800.00 - $144,200.00

Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA

Job Description/Qualifications

Responsibilities

1. Define requirement specifications for electrical/electronic systems in collaboration with functional groups.
2. Design electrical sub-systems from concept to production as part of a technical team.
3. Coordinate with software, mechanical, packaging, and production teams.
4. Manage technical project planning, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and design reviews.
5. Design mixed-signal electronic systems, including schematic capture, simulation, and layout review.
6. Create test plans, perform testing, and conduct analysis to validate design performance, troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with BSEE or 3-5 years with MSEE.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, analog/digital, and mixed-signal design.
• Experience with project management and engineering design phases.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, soldering tools.
• Knowledge of FPGA/CPLD, motor controls, power electronics, camera systems is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate or work experience equivalent, Master's degree with 2 years, Bachelor's degree with 3 years.
