Job summary

Anduril Industries, Irvine, CA, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to own rapidly developed, ruggedized electronics and scale legacy designs for production. You will partner with Architecture and Product Management to drive system requirements before owning full PCB and/or electrical system design.

You will identify high risk areas, create and validate electronics designs for embedded compute and/or power systems, and test for long-term reliability with manufacturability in mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in electrical design.
• Ability to design digital and analog electronics from concept to production.
• Troubleshoot hardware and implement design improvements.
• Document design requirements, specifications, test coverage, and reports.
• Full cycle PCB design including schematic, layout, bring-up, and integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
• Fast-paced environment with multiple projects and active deployments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership as the main point of contact for electrical integration activities.
• Provide hands-on and in-field support of prototype and production level products.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to optimize high power components and distribution.
• Trade-off component selections against size, weight, power and EMC requirements.
• Work with design teams to meet reliability goals at system level.
