Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to lead PCBA design for manufacturability, drive test strategies, and oversee embedded hardware bring‑up for high‑reliability defense hardware.

Responsibilities include DFM/DFT, FSM integration, and EMS partner management, with strong emphasis on IPC standards and automated testing. Requires hands‑on PCBAs, scripting, and protocols like CAN/Ethernet/JTAG.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in electrical manufacturing, PCBA industrialization, or hardware engineering with board‑level exposure.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor).
• Hands‑on PCBA production experience with SMT, reflow, and DFM/DFT.
• Test process design including ICT, boundary scan, and FVT.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for hardware tests.
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, and JTAG.
• Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC J‑STD‑001; U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCBA design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Define production test strategy and test limits.
• Develop DFT guidelines and probe access plans.
• Define test sequences and integration with MES.
• Lead embedded hardware bring‑up and firmware interfaces.
• Manage EMS partners and transition to mBOMs.
• Ensure IPC‑A‑610 and IPC J‑STD‑001 compliance.
