Job summary

Echo Electric, a leader in electrical distribution, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative in Sioux City, IA. You will assist customers during sales, manage ERP-based order processes, and support warehouse activities to ensure accurate stock and service levels.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 1 year in the electrical industry, strong communication and teamwork skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the electrical industry or knowledge of electrical products.
• Able to communicate effectively, stay organized and work within a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and move around the warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
• EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level training or commitment to complete within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software and maintain a professional sales demeanor.
• Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating documentation, and making follow-up calls.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis.
• Ensure pricing, labels and promotional signage are accurate and visible.
