Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading Echo Electric Supply brand under Sonepar, seeks a motivated Counter Sales Representative to assist customers, handle sales orders, and support warehouse tasks in Beatrice, NE. The role emphasizes product knowledge, ERP-driven processes, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a national electrical distribution network, with a shift schedule Monday–Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintain professional sales demeanor.
• Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
• Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves to ensure product are visually appealing
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise
• Ensure all pricing, labels and promotional signage are accurate and visible
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.
