Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to support customers in our Beatrice, NE location. You will handle sales processes, promote new products, and assist with warehouse tasks daily.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year in electrical products, strong communication, and teamwork skills. Training on EDGE/EPEC Bronze Level within 18 months is expected. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• at least 1 year experience in electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and move around the warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete within 18 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintaining a professional sales demeanor.
• Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and generate stock requests.
• Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves to keep products visually appealing.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise.
• Ensure pricing, labels, and promotional signage are accurate and visible.
• Create and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
