Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand under Sonepar, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative in Beatrice, NE. You will assist customers during the sales process, maintain product knowledge, and support warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in the electrical industry, strong communication, and basic computer skills. You will work Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in electrical industry or with electrical products.
• Ability to communicate effectively, stay organized and work in a team.
• Able to stand long periods and move around warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
• EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level completion or willingness to complete within 18 months of starting job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software.
• Track and fulfill sales orders, create documentation, and follow up calls.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and generate stock requests.
• Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise.
• Ensure pricing, labels and promotional signage are accurate and visible.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe environment.
