Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide fast, friendly service at the branch counter. You will assist customers with purchases and returns, process orders, and collaborate with the branch team on receiving, stocking, and showroom upkeep.

The role supports driving electrical distribution sales, building new and existing customer relationships, and staying current on product knowledge. A valid driver’s license may be required for occasional deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in an electrical distribution environment preferred
• Previous branch experience preferred
• Forklift/hand truck/pallet jack certification preferred
• If required to drive, valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age and pass motor vehicle records check
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by assisting customers with purchases and order processing
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales and develop new/existing customer relationships
• Stay informed on product knowledge and available inventory
• Flag safety or customer-satisfaction issues to the manager
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping the showroom clean and organized
• May perform other branch tasks including inside sales, order filling, receiving, stocking, and shipping materials
• Occasionally make deliveries up to 20% of the time
