Job summary

Rexel USA in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join our Rexel USA team. Provides prompt, courteous service and processes customer purchases and returns while assisting in stocking, showroom upkeep, and order processing.

You will help drive electrical distribution sales, stay up-to-date on product knowledge, and support the branch team with daily tasks. This is an early professional, full-time role with potential for growth within the Rexel network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Motor Vehicle Record verification required.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for the counter business and develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Stay informed on product knowledge and communicate hazards or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• May perform other duties within a branch, including inside sales and handling orders, stocking, and shipping.
