Amazon.com LLC - A03 seeks an experienced Electrical & Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical power distribution and control systems for One MHS projects. The role emphasizes safety, scalability, and operational excellence across material handling initiatives.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software, and project management teams to deliver robust, standardized designs while ensuring NEC compliance and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years in electrical and controls design for industrial/materiel handling.
• Deep knowledge of EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET protocols.
• Experience with VFD selection and interface design.
• Proficiency with IPCs, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Design power and control systems for material handling projects.
• Develop layouts, schematics, and panel standardization.
• Implement industrial networks and control architectures.
• Perform in-field audits for NEC code compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams.
