Job summary

Encore Wire in McKinney, TX is seeking an Electrical Control Technician to safely diagnose and rectify equipment across production plants. You will work on electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics as directed by supervision and production priorities.

The role requires hands-on PLC and HMI proficiency, with experience in AC/DC drives, PID loops, Ethernet, and diagnostics. Expect a loud production environment and physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with AC/DC drives.
• Understanding of speed feedback devices.
• Knowledge of PID and control loops.
• Familiar with Ethernet communications.
• PC/LAN and PLC/HMI proficiency.
• Ability to diagnose defective components.

Responsibilities
