Job summary

McWane Ductile Ohio is seeking an Electrical Control Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical control systems and automation equipment on the factory floor. The technician will support PLC systems, motor controls, sensors, drives, and instrumentation, collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and operations to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

This is a full-time, on-site role with occasional off-shift coverage to support production start-up

Qualifications

Experience with PLC logic and programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
AA in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics preferred with 2 years related experience.
NFPA 70E electrical safety training is a plus.
Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and HMI systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
Diagnose issues in PLC systems, motor controls, sensors, drives, and automation equipment.
Interpret and update schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Document maintenance activities and corrective actions in CMMS systems.
Support reliability improvement initiatives.
