Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Carrollton, GA seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to support a large industrial manufacturing facility. This hands-on role focuses on electrical systems, controls and PLC-driven equipment, including troubleshooting breakdowns and getting production back up and running.

You will connect to PLCs with a laptop, review logic to identify root causes, perform control circuit troubleshooting, and collaborate with the maintenance team to keep equipment running efficiently;

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing electrical and control systems in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret PLC logic for troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with drives/VFDs and PLCs.
• Comfortable communicating with shift supervision and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and controls breakdowns across the facility.
• Connect to PLCs using a laptop via Ethernet or wireless.
• Troubleshoot Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs and review ladder logic for root causes.
• Perform control circuit troubleshooting and replace drives as needed.
• Make minor PLC logic changes and coordinate with maintenance to restore production.
• Work with the shift supervisor to prioritize work orders and breakdowns.
