Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of production machinery. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motors, electrical controls, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and mechanical assemblies, with strong PLC troubleshooting and safety compliance.

Based in Carrollton, TX, the role requires 5–10 years in heavy industrial environments, reading schematics, and working up to 480V 3-phase.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, controls, and power distribution.
• Proven experience in Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting and VFD programming.
• Ability to read/update electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
• Skilled in mechanical alignment, bearing replacement, and precision assembly.
• Root-cause analysis and critical-thinking skills; self-motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Safety first: follow HSE protocols including LOTO, fall protection, confined space, forklift operation, and hot-work standards.
• Troubleshoot/repair circuits, motors, relays, and sensors; diagnose VFDs and interface with PLCs for logic adjustments.
• Inspect, rebuild, and align pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and drive systems to OEM specs.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits; service valves, regulators, cylinders, and proportional controls.
• Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication for repairs or equipment modifications.
• Execute preventive/corrective maintenance; analyze performance data to drive PM improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records and coordinate with planning and production to resolve abnormalities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
